NexG is pushing on R&D activity to take the initiative in Internet and network environment of the 21st century on the basis of accumulated generic technology and development competency to take off to be a world class enterprise in this age of global mega competitiveness. NexG has secured the research staff equivalent to a half or more of all the employees from 2001 in order to concentrate upon R&D for several years and further, is operating a Laboratory. NexG Laboratory is composed of 4 teams, and Development 1 Team is developing high performance UTM equipment with network processor. This product being currently developed is the next generation product of Nex G, and the development is being accelerated toward release in Jul. 2007. In addition, NexG is developing UTM equipment through product differentiation from existing UTM equipment by cutting software-based processes to the maximum and utilizing optimal hardware modules to each function such as IPS/firewall/VPN not to incur degradation even if various functions are utilized. Development 2 Team is concentrating upon developing ¡®VForce NMS¡¯, the integrated security system of ¡®VForce¡¯ of VPN integrated security solution, and has striven to develop ¡®Vforce NPC¡¯ of remote automatic power control from 2006. Development 3 Team is upgrading ¡®VForce¡¯ VPN integrated product group, NexG¡¯s main-force product, into UTM(Unified Threat Management) equipment. With this, NexG Laboratory¡¯s Certification Team takes charge of CC of NIS for VForce product group, and NexG has obtained CC Certification for all products. Such obtainment of CC Certification indicates that technology of the internally developed VForce product is recognized through verification of security conformity at a global level, and NexG is supplying products adopting world class technology to home and overseas customers.
